  • Local Personal Training

    Local Personal Training We start everyone with an initial one-on-one assessment where we go over your training history, injury history, movement quality, performance tests, and discuss your specific physiological needs and goals.

    We operate using a private training format: coaching you on your own individualized program.

    What To Expect

    ​This format provides several advantages:

    ​You’re going to be taught how to perform each exercise to the best of your ability.  This also allows us to change up the exercise to one that might better meet your needs and goals if this exercise is not correct for you. Not every exercise or stretch works for every individual.  Forcing your body to perform a movement pattern that is too uncomfortable or that increases your risk of injury does not help you reach your goals.

    ​Our experience in challenging people to perform a little bit more than previously (one of the keys to body adaptation and change) enables us to consistently get results without plateaus.

    ​You’ll soon have a better appreciation for how your body can move and perform.

    ​Coaching is the key word here, because we really work to help you master the form of every exercise and  always giving feedback when necessary. We are not just going to stand there and count reps. We are going to coach you.

    ​To get the ball rolling all you need to do is click the fancy red button below to start your initial assessment. We will then send you an email to confirm and to set up a date/time.

    ​And then it’s time to get to work. There’s no “initial pitch” or requirement to commit to any long-term package. You show up, go through an assessment, then we come up with a game plan that best fits your needs, goals, and schedule.

  • Chronic Conditions and Rehabilitation

    Chronic Conditions and Rehabilitation We can assist you to improve posture and gait (walking) as well as both pre- and post- surgery.

    We often work together with Allied Health Professionals including Surgeons, General Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists and Chiropractors in order to improve your rate of recovery.

    Rehabilitation

    An individually tailored exercise program can bridge the gap between the acute stages of injury and returning you to the exercise and lifestyle you love. We commonly see individuals who have received physiotherapy treatment for the acute stages of injury, but are not yet at a level to jump back in to the activities they love.

    Prehabilitation

    Pre-hab training is designed to prepare the affected area prior to surgery by strengthening the surrounding muscles. This can greatly reduce the impact of surgery and improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation, which can reduce your recovery time.

    Common injuries we treat include:

    Lose Fat, Gain Strength We work all levels of fitness, from injured and deconditioned to elite athletes, taking a holistic and personalized approach to shape an exercise program around your current training and capacity.

    Many programs lack the individual attention needed for someone to achieve their goals. With our scientific-based, professional approach, we can prescribe an individual strength and conditioning program, incorporating injury prevention and management, as well as run fitness testing and track your progress. Balancing this with whole body stability and mobility exercises are crucial to prevent injury and promote longevity.

    Strength and Conditioning

    Our expertise in exercise allows us to deliver Strength and Conditioning programs like no other. We take the time to get to know you, before prescribing a program that will give you the sport-specific fitness to dominate the competition. Our high level of knowledge in Exercise Physiology means that our programs are not only designed to improve performance, but to prevent and manage injuries.

    Our Strength and Conditioning is uniquely designed for your needs, incorporating everything from range of movement, activation and patterning, loading phases, plyometric, and sport-specific biomechanics. As well as working to prevent injuries, our programming can be tailored to help you bridge the gap between the acute phases of rehab and being ready to perform.

    Fitness Testing and Tracking

    We design our fitness testing around the needs of your specific sport. Whether it be sprint, power, endurance, flexibility or skill-specific, we can tailor a fitness testing solution that is right for you. Beyond basic fitness testing, our expertise allows us to analyze athletes’ gait and fundamental movements, providing you with the specific feedback needed to help your athletes perform at their best.

    Our fitness testing includes advice for athletes setting goals before their next testing and professionally presented data tracking for coaches and athletes to monitor progress. We discuss with you the best approach to improve your athletes’ fitness or you can let us do the work and design a strength and conditioning program for you to integrate into your training programs.

  • Online Personal Training

    Online Personal Training Personalized Approach scientific based exercises individually tailored for your situation or condition ​

    $299 per month

    Includes:


    • Mobile access to your program with exercise descriptions and videos
    • Access to video library
    • Monthly consultation via phone/email
    • Unlimited communication with Coach via email
    • Monthly video exercise review of your technique (via videos you send to us)
    • If you would prefer to not use an app for training, we provide a hard copy emailed of your workout every month. We will interact with you with your preferred means of communication.
    • Accountability and support of your training can be done with either phone calls, texts, or emails. Instead of entering after each workout, you can text, call or email your weekly progress.
